Video conference of Foreign Ministers of Baltic states and Albania held in Tallinn

On 20 July, a video conference of the Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Albanian Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj was held in Tallinn.
The meeting discussed issues of particular importance for Albania, such as the prospect of opening accession negotiations with the European Union, the EU reforms pursued by Albania, the situation in the Western Balkans, multilateral cooperation, global security, and Albania’s Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
The Baltic Foreign Ministers voiced their strong support for Albania’s EU aspirations and further enlargement of the EU, as well as expressed readiness to share the experience of integration into the EU with Albania.
